Matthew Perry is a multi-talented sound-engineer, music-producer, and disc-jockey, with half a decade of radio experience. He’s held six distinct DJ residencies in Maine as a club/nightlife DJ, and has performed in dozens of full scale venues around the state (The State Theater, Port City Music Hall, Thompson’s Point). Matt has an ear for hot/new music, having performed over 250 times in Portland’s Old Port, he’s become highly sought after by club owners and young professionals.
Aside from being a disc-jockey, Matt works part-time at a recording studio in South-Portland. Producing records for artists in the New-England area, his collaboration work with Bri Lane in 2018 landed him ‘Best Roots/Acoustic Music Video’ according to ‘MVP’. Also one-half of the music group ADvsFX, Matt composes electronic-music through live instrumentation and effect manipulation. This duo has recently signed a record-deal with ‘Wave AI’, featured at the United Nations, Grammy.com, NBC, and DJ Mag.
Radio Experience gives Matt an excellent comfort & presence on the microphone that is crucial for smooth hosting. He produced over 150 radio shows, tasked with booking a different band each week, and hosting/interviewing the band live on air. Matt’s microphone presence is smooth and effective.
Matt loves to provide high-fidelity sound to his clients. Through his sound-engineering, music production, disc-jockey, and radio experience, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from. Enabling him to provide a great experience from start to finish.
