Mariko has been working in the music industry for years as a performer, producer, and DJ. She has been fortunate enough to work with Grammy Award winners and even performed at famous music festivals such as Summerfest and Vans Warped Tour. She has DJed for private occasions, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, pride events, and weddings all over NYC and the Hamptons. Mariko has been lucky to have residencies at hotels, lounges, dive bars, clubs, and golf clubs. When she isn’t DJing she is in the studio writing songs for artists or rooting for her favorite sports team.
Mariko is dedicated to ensuring that the client’s wishes are granted. She is described by her friends as “the party starter” and genuinely wants everyone to have a great time. She understands that a wedding is a forever lasting memory and experience. Timelines and being organized is actually her love language. Mention a spreadsheet and she will start fanning herself.
Her favorite styles of music to play are famous hits. She is open to all genres but most informed with top 40, hip hop/rap, 90’s, 2000’s, Motown, reggaeton, dance hall, rock music, and EDM remixes of famous singles. She is well known to read the room and to keep the dance floor jumping!
