  • Lowkey Flex: I DJ for the New York Mets! ⚾️
  • My Specialty: Spanish/Caribbean Events 🇪🇸🇧🇶
  • Fun Fact: My favorite colors are orange and blue 🧡💙

Growing up watching his father, an attorney, address juries during trials and crowds as master of ceremonies at Shea Stadium, Gustavo learned from an early age how to speak to the people and command their attention. He then began to work the 1s and 2s at 17 years old and has been honing his DJ and MC craft ever since. Within two months of his pro debut, Gustavo earned his first two residencies in NYC on Friday and Saturday nights.

His range and diversity has allowed him to quickly rise in the DJ world and perform at the world’s top nightclubs as well as host and MC events for prestigious corporate and non-profit clients. He performs for powerhouses like TAO Group, the New York Mets, Dell, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Volunteering Untapped and Quiet Events at venues such as Marquee, LAVO, MOXY, Hudson Terrace, Stage 48, Citi Field, Mansion, PRYSM, etc. as well as high-profile events such as Winter Music Conference, Miami Music Week, EDC Week Las Vegas, Promo Only Summer Sessions, South by Southwest (SxSW) and Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL) where he holds an annual residency.

During his power hour sets, his unique style of DJing includes utilizing tone-play and word-play: techniques that blend songs in a way that sound live-produced as opposed to a simple blend. Whether he’s hyping up the crowd or taking you on a musical journey, you can be certain that when Gus is on the decks, you’ll be hanging onto every note wondering how he will captivate you next.

Fun Fact

When he’s not DJing, Gustavo enjoys going to New York Mets and New York Giants games with his daughter Amelie, making hummus for his fiancée Maryam and playing dominoes with his dad, Gustavo Sr.!
