Austin Peete was my amazing DJ for my 57th Birthday celebration and wow, it truly was a wonderful experience! From our very first conversation, I had a feeling he was the right choice. He really took the time to understand the vibe I wanted and was so thoughtful and collaborative throughout the process.
What I especially appreciated was how much care he put into the music selection. He wanted to know the songs I absolutely wanted to hear, and together we created a mix of Caribbean music, Afrobeats, classical selections, and ’80s music. It was a unique combination, and somehow he turned it into something that felt seamless, joyful, and honestly so magical.
He brought great energy, professionalism, and ease to the entire experience, and that allowed me to truly enjoy my celebration. My partner and I got married on Saturday 5/2/2026 and our DJ was Austin—we adore him so much and he did such a fantastic job! Everyone at our wedding noticed his calm and warm energy and he made everyone feel so comfortable showing off their dance moves. When we met Austin, he asked so many good questions about music and our relationship to it is as individuals and a couple. Our personal favorite was when he asked about songs we had inside jokes to. He always approached us with acceptance and kindness and never made us feel judged. Austin also had a specific vibe to match as we had emo, ska, rocksteady, punk, broadway, and pop fans of different age ranges all in one space for our big day. Not to mention A LOT of musicians in the room. He didn’t disappoint, he covered a lot of decades, all of our requests and could really read the room energetically! We also loved that he encouraged people to “nourish themselves for dancing” when he made food announcements. It made everyone feel taken care of. Austin worked so well with our venue. He made sure my partner and I were on the dance floor for the last song and it meant so much. Beat train can also provide a Photo Booth! Our attendant was incredible and funny, and the photos were fabulous. This is such a great vendor! Beat train was everything we could have asked for and more for our special day!
We booked Austin through Beat Train as our wedding DJ and had an amazing time! We asked him to incorporate music from a variety of different cultures (Hawaiian reggae, Latin dance music, hava nagila) which he did very well. He was great at taking suggestions from us to put together an awesome playlist and made sure things went smoothly on the day of the wedding.
