Nia Wallace’s astounding ear for music goes back as early as when she was a child, watching her father produce for artists in his studio. She prides herself in knowing what a song is sampled from within seconds after it starts playing. In college she was constantly asked to be in charge of the music at parties. Nia’s passion for various sounds led to her purchasing her first DJ controller, gaining a following at local clubs for her versatility which ranges from 80s Funk to Jazz, Afrobeats to Hip hop, Reggaeton to Dancehall. This young, open format DJ has truly withheld the reputation as an old soul.
Nia also received her Bachelors in Sociology at Hunter College, and is studying for her Masters of Social Work at Fordham University. She is extremely dedicated to giving her clients what makes them happy, and moving their bodies while providing a unique twist. She is responsible, observant, goal-oriented, and can work a room like no other. Her infectious personality, and amazing sense of people makes her a strong candidate as your DJ. The party doesn’t start til Nia arrives!
