Tappan Hill Mansion Wedding Photos

Last spring, we DJed a Tappan Hill Mansion wedding in Tarrytown, NY, which is located on the former estate of Mark Twain. Tappan Hill Mansion is a premier wedding venue known for its rich historic background, picture perfect landscape, and exceptional event planning services. The estate features scenic views of the Hudson valley and has garden terraces and luxurious rooms, a perfect backdrop for a wedding. Kaitlyn and Jesse were a wonderful couple and the day was full of laughter and joy all around.

Photography is provided by Prema Photographic. Photographer Kiersten is a traveler and yoigini in addition to being a fantastic wedding photographer. In sanskrit, Prema means divine love and is the inspiration for Kiersten’s work. We particularly love her black and white work. Willowdale Estate Wedding Photos

We are pleased to announce that the Willowdale Estate wedding photos are up! We were so excited to DJ for Megan and Brad who planned an unforgettable ceremony in the midst of a wintery background at Willowdale Estate, an arts and crafts stone mansion that sits on 4 acres of land on the Bradley Palmer State Park. This elegant and historic mansion was restored by the Forsythe family in the early 1990s. The mansion balances the perfect blend of historical accuracy and modern building codes. Located on the North Shore of Masachussets, the estate resides in pristine woodlands, a perfect backdrop for this beautiful New England wedding.

Wave Hill Wedding Photos

We DJed an absolutely stunning wedding this last fall and are excited to share these Wave Hill wedding photos from the Bronx, NY. Wave Hill is a 28-acre public garden that overlooks the Hudson River. It is secluded and surrounded by beautiful landscape and nature, a luxury and a rarity in NY. The space features beautifully kept gardens, lush scenery and an unforgettable view. It’s a perfect place to have a picture-perfect wedding. Michelle and Rob had come across Wave Hill early in their relationship when Rob led an after school field trip to the grounds. After their engagement, Michelle and Rob agreed that Wave Hill was the perfect venue to help guests get away from the city and feel like they were on a “wedding field trip”. After looking at these photos, we couldn’t agree more. Wave Hill is a hidden gem, perfect for a NY wedding.

We are sharing some gorgeous photos from Jessica Schmitt Photography, a NY based photographer who specializes in wedding photography. Harvard Square Wedding

We DJed a Harvard Square wedding for Sophia and Mellisha in Cambridge, Massachussets. GayWeddings.com did a feature and we wanted to share this great wedding. The couple planned a small wedding for a close group of friends and family and shared their vows at a church in the square followed by a reception Upstairs on the Square (now closed). The theme for this wedding was Alice in Wonderland and we loved the handmade goodies that the couple provided for their guests. Gayweddings.com said that this wedding had a down to earth feeling and we couldn’t agree more. It was a great time for all and we were thrilled to be a part of it.

Photos from a Marianmade Farm Wedding

We don’t get a lot of opportunities to travel up to Maine so we were thrilled to be a part of this gorgeous Marianmade Farm wedding. Marianmade Farm is located in historic Wiscasset, Maine this venue is a beautiful and working lavender farm that features simple yet elegant lavender floral arrangements. Located on the banks of the Sheepscot River the venue features an outdoor ceremony site, a timber frame barn, and acres of nature to serve as the perfect backdrop for a picturesque wedding. Sarah and Joe couldn’t have picked a better location to say “I Do” and we were happy to be there for this memorable experience.

This wedding was featured on A Sweet Start, a blog written by Maine based wedding officiant, Maria who specializes in creating personal and warm ceremonies for a wide range of traditional to more unique ceremonies. She also happily officiates for same sex weddings.

Multicultural Wedding Photos at Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, Massachusetts

We are thrilled to share these multicultural wedding photos from a wedding we DJed at Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, Massachusetts. These wedding photos are stunning, colorful and represent a beautiful melting pot of two very different cultures.

Surbhi and Zach combined classic New England influences with traditional Indian and Jewish traditions. They did a beautiful job combining old world traditions with fresh and whimsical decorations. The result? A wedding that felt warm, inviting, and was tons of fun for everyone who attended. With family that flew in from all over the world, this wedding was a fantastic celebration of love and family.

Gramercy Park Wedding Photos

Style Me Pretty just blogged Gramercy Park Wedding photos from a reception we recently DJ’d at this legendary Manhattan, NYC hotel! It is such an honor to be among so many fantastic vendors in another SMP feature. Photos are by the very talented wedding photography team; Charlotte Jenks Lewis. The couple held both the ceremony and reception at the classic New York City spot Gramercy Park Hotel, in mid August. This summer in the city wedding is just so breezy and dreamy—enjoy!
