Chebeague Island Inn Maine Wedding
Here are some photos from an absolutely beautiful Chebeague Island Inn Maine Wedding from photographer Melissa Mullen.
The couple tied the knot at the Chebeague Island Inn, located off the coast of Maine, which is an hour and a half north of Boston, and a 25 minute boat ride. The inn is one of the few that still remains along the coast of Maine. At 3 1/2 miles long and 1 1/2 miles wide, Chebeague is the largest island in Casco Bay. The original structure was built in the 1880’s, but burned down in the early 20th century. It was rebuilt in 1920 and has been restored to embody its original character and natural beauty. The inn is a landmark on the island, and in Maine. The island is home to a small community who has a lot of history in sailing, and also is the summer home of many families.
The ceremony took place on the rear lawn of the inn, which overlooks Casco Bay, and the reception was held in a tent on the stunning property which overlooks The Great Chebeague Golf Course. This island is remote, and has a very unique setting and special community vibe- which makes for an amazing place to get married.
You can see some amazing video footage from this event from videographer Zach Boyce over here! He has some amazing work- and looks like he captured a pretty epic dance floor at this wedding.
