Summer weddings on the Cape are the best!  The scenery is beautiful, that island breeze is to die for, and it’s got that laid back beachy vibe – weather it’s a a backyard tented wedding, or a black tie affair (on the beach.)  This Cape Cod Nautical Wedding that Nick DJ’ed is no different.

We worked with a lot of fantastic vendors on this one, and photos from the event can be found on the Well Wed wedding blog, as well as the planner blog, Desiree Spinner Blog.  This event was planned and styled by designer Desiree Spinnery – who did a beautiful job with prop styling, and nailed every detail of this nautical themed reception.

The event took place at Chatham Bars Inn, located on the Cape. Chatham Bars Inn began as a hunting lodge for vacationing Bostonians in 1914. The Inn operated its own farm, providing dairy products for its guests- making it quickly gain a reputation as the Cape’s most desirable destination. While it has been majorly updated and renovated since then- it still maintains a beautiful and rustic charm.
