Although it seems to be a fading trend at wedding receptions over the last few years, many couples still like to include the garter toss into their wedding party’s itinerary. 

In case you are unfamiliar, the garter toss typically takes place right after the bouquet toss on your wedding day. The groom removes the garter from the bride’s leg while a song is played.  The garter is then tossed towards the eligible single men. In the hopes that the person who catches the garter will have the same good fortune as the person who catches the bouquet.
