Tim Ahler was amazing!! We were lucky enough to find him (and Beat Train Productions) online, and based on their awesome reviews we booked them without a second thought. Tim made the whole process so stress-free and easy, and with one simple phone call we trusted that he got the vibe we were going for, 100%. We were right! His warm demeanor and genuine excitement simply added to the pleasure of working with him. He was so responsive to emails and questions, and coordinated with the venue so I didn’t have to think about any of it. He was the ultimate professional. He kept the dance floor packed, kept the party moving seamlessly, and except for the single girls asking “who’s the cute DJ??”, you’d never know he was there. He totally nailed it for us, and we are so appreciative!! Book Tim if you can – you will NOT be disappointed!
Tim Ahler DJ’d our wedding and did a great job! I had seen him at a previous wedding and the music was so good, I just had to book him. Tim was super helpful with the planning process and even shared the setlist from the previous wedding I had attended. For our wedding, we did end up giving Tim a song-by-song setlist just because we’re very particular. Tim did a great job with it. We had included shot out requests (i.e., please wish my cousin happy bday, dedicate this song to my sister, etc.) and he didn’t miss a single one. He asks for phonetic pronunciations of your bridal party so he can be sure to say their names correctly. He also respects that it’s a wedding and not a club – he didn’t add unnecessary commentary, which was a good thing for us! (I’m sure if you wanted him to help animate your crowd a bit, he’d be great at that tho.)
Tim! Thank you so much for keeping the dance floor occupied all night! I had so many people come up to me to tell me how great you were and also how excited they were that their song requests were played. As the bride being overwhelmed with activity, love and emotion, I barely heard the music, but I definitely felt the energy that was cultivated by it! I remember knowing every song, but couldn’t even name them now. The transitions were seamless, you read the crowd perfectly, and thank you for realizing that as someone who doesn’t dance very well, a thumbs up after 30 seconds of first dances means “we got the photo, lets move on”. The wedding was perfect, you were great, and I was sore the next day from dancing all night!!

I would highly recommend Tim Ahler to anyone seeking a DJ for any event. Tim worked one of my birthday parties, which was 80s themed. He was interested in knowing what music I wanted to hear and was consistently paying attention to the energy of the attendees and choosing the music accordingly. Tim is energetic, charismatic, and always has a smile on his face. Any event would be lucky to have him!
Tim did such an amazing job at our wedding! He DJ’d our ceremony and reception and made sure our day ran smoothly and just how we wanted it. My wife and I procrastinated pretty hard and gave our DJ, Tim Ahler, very little to work with in terms of preparation. He showed up early and sought me out immediately, and in our brief discussion he assessed what would be best for us. He MC’d dinner and the toasts flawlessly, and the music was amazing! Very high energy all night, and we and our guests danced the whole time! I think Tim was dancing at his booth, and he smiled along all night. He also recorded the audio of the toasts without us even asking. What a great dude! Thank you, Tim!
