Beat Train Rocks The 2017 Vision Expo
Beat Train Productions played a major role at this year’s Vision Expo for California based eyewear company Zero G Titanium. The 3 day event took place at the at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC, and featured the country’s best purveyors of prescription and casual eyewear. Zero G founder, Tom Cody hired our very own DJ Joe Lopez to provide the backdrop for a special promotional launch of his new ‘Born In Brooklyn” line of high-end frames.
Joe dug deep into his musical roots, spinning some early 80’s & 90’s hip-hop, funk, break beats & specifically, Brooklyn related artists to give the booth a vintage ‘Old School Hip Hop in NY’ feel while Florida’s own Vitale Brothers painted a Brooklyn themed mural over the course of the 3 days. With constant compliments and praise coming in all weekend from nearby vendors, Jacob Javits Staff and social media comments it was without a doubt one of the most unique & effective promotions of the weekend and DJ Joe was easily the right fit for the concept of the booth due to his vast knowledge and experience in that genre.
