As usual, I’ve been very busy lately, doing several DJ gigs every week. In the last few weeks, I DJ’d weddings and other functions at The Inn at Woodstock Hill, Smith Barn, The Union League Cafe, Peabody Essex Museum, Decordova Museum, Pleasant Valley Country Club, The Boston Hyatt, and the Fort Point FP3 Lofts.
A couple days ago, I DJ’d at a Boston Magazine party to inaugurate the opening of the FP3 Lofts in the Fort Point Area of Boston. At the party, I spun a mix of downtempo, chilled out hip hop, instrumental funk, rare groove, disco remixes and dub. Nathan Fried-Lipski, an outstanding Boston based photographer, was kind enough to share a few pics from the event for me to post on my blog. And the guy on the right of me is my friend Rodrigo Valenzuela, who I flew in from Olympia, WA to be my roadie for a couple weeks and to shoot some film footage of a music video he’s been working on to promote Mambo Beat Club, my Thursday night DJ residency at Zuzu.
