So unfortunately I have not proven myself to be one of the most dedicated bloggers-but here we are with another (belated) blog post…

Things have been busy lately-In addition to my weekly DJ residency at Zuzu, I’ve most recently done events at the State Room (which the above pic is from, courtesy of Michael Paul), The Elephant Walk, The Harvard Faculty Club
in Cambridge, and the Boston Ritz Carlton. You can see more uplighting pics from the State Room at: www.CambridgeUplighting.com.

Besides that I found time to visit NYC to see some friends, check out some DJs, buy some records, and see the outstanding Broadway show Fela (about the legendary afrobeat musician, Fela Kuti).

2) Ben Woods (one of our DJ’s) is one of the founders of the Flavorheard DJ collective-they were recently just nominated for “best dj” in the Boston Phoenix (Congrats Ben!).

3) Weddingwire.com Bride’s Choice Awards
We were recently selected by WeddingWire.com as one of Boston’s top wedding venders.

4) NYC
I’m going to be living in new york city for three months in 2011 to see how I like it.

So things have been busy here in the new Beat Train Productions world headquarters in Jamaica Plain.

Recently, I just launched beattrainsoundsystem.com which is a website to promote my club gigs. I was extremely fortunate to be able to collaborate with 2 extremely talented individuals, in putting the site together: Zach O’Hora and Jesse Rosenfield (who happens to be my brother, and also the designer of beattrainproductions.com.

Additionally I have just added two more DJ’s to our roster.  After an extensive 4 month search, I feel very lucky to have found two outstanding DJ’s who are the embodiment of Beat Train Productions commitment to style and professionalism.  Welcome aboard Ben and Seth!
